Koja to open a new factory in Jalasjärvi
The new factory represents carbon-neutral construction. It uses renewable energy forms and relies on the Group’s new Wave automation system, which has a smart energy station at its core. The factory will be inaugurated at an opening ceremony for the personnel in Jalasjärvi at the end of January.

Koja's new factory in the commissioning phase
Koja’s new factory in Jalasjärvi has entered the commissioning phase. The production move is in its final stages, and machine installations are currently underway. The first production phases in the new factory are already in operation.

Fennocon to be merged into Koja on December 31, 2023
Fennocon Oy, which produces high-quality design and consulting services for the shipbuilding industry, will merge into Koja Oy on December 31, 2023.

Icon of the Seas is equipped with Koja air conditioning
The world’s largest cruiser, Icon of the Seas, is a significant step toward more sustainable cruise travel. The ship was built at the Meyer Turku shipyard and it has been handed over to Royal Caribbean International at the end of November. Koja has delivered custom-made air handling units to the cruise ship.

New material technology brings safety and energy efficiency to Pilkington Automotive’s glassworks
Koja’s new innovation, a carbon fiber impeller immune to structural fatigue, was put to the test by Pilkington Automotive Finland Oy on their glass tempering line. The new impellers are expected to reduce fan breakages and increase the safety and energy efficiency of the tempering process.
