Seinäjoki Central Hospital Y-building
Y-building, construction project of Kiinteistö Oy Seinäjoki, is part of the South Ostrobothnia health care district and Central Hospital in Seinäjoki. It is a health care unit serving 200 000 inhabitants. Y-building has both departments of the Central Hospital and the Health Centre of Seinäjoki. There is also conference rooms for hire in Y-building. The extension of Y-building, 33 870 m² with 1309 rooms, is one of the biggest hospital projects in Finland.
New facility employs about 450 people in 20 operational units. Operational units are in five floors and four functional blocks are supported by entrance block with helipad, spacious atrium and cafeteria. Koja's 33 air handling units are generating the clean, healthy and comfortable indoor air in the Y-building. The choice of the supplier was based on the high efficiency, adjustability and noiselessness AC-units, not to mention our flexibility of deliveries and domesticity.
