Koja air conditioning solutions in Mein Schiff 6
Meyer Turku has commissioned Koja to engineer and deliver the ship's air conditioning solutions. Our air conditioning solutions were delivered to the ship in 2016.
Our Future Marine air conditioning solution is the result of meticulous engineering, continuous, stringent quality control and the application of latest technical solutions. To be able to offer the best available technology and achieve ultimate energy efficiency, we rely on our proprietary product development and production effort.
Mein Schiff 6 was completed in spring 2017, and will operate in the Baltic Sea in summer 2017. After that cruises will continue in the Caribbean.
Cooperation will continue in New Mein Schiff 1 & 2
Energy efficiency has been given special focus in both engineering and construction of the ship. The ship consumes less energy than its predecessors, and the technical solutions and equipment used in it have been updated from the sister ships. Thanks to a new exhaust gas treatment process, sulphur emissions of Mein Schiff 6 are nearly 99 % lower and nitrogen oxide emissions nearly 75 % lower.
Koja has also commissioned air conditioning solutions to the sister ship Mein Schiff 5. Cooperation with Meyer Turku will continue in the following two ships of the same series: New Mein Schiff 1 and 2. Meyer Turku has started to build New Mein Shiff 1 on February 2017.
